JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

The campaign is seeking a Deputy Campaign Manager to join our dynamic team. The individual will work closely with the Campaign Manager to run a successful campaign by overseeing daily campaign operations and strategy and ensuring that all aspects of the campaign run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as part of a key, high-profile statewide race. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, passionate, energetic, organized, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with and assist the Campaign Manager to develop and implement a winning political strategy.

  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage day-to-day operations and campaign budget.

  • Supervise and manage team members.

  • Collaborate with and support the efforts of field, fundraising, and communications team members, serving as an important link between these teams and senior leadership.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders, partners, and allies including party leaders, elected officials, community groups, and labor organizations.

Qualifications

  • Proven political campaign experience.

  • Strong understanding of political trends and campaign best practices.

  • Commitment to building a winning campaign and supporting the campaign’s values.

  • Strong attention to detail, proactive, problem-solving, multitasking, project management, and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Team-player who enjoys working collaboratively.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.
