Position Summary:
Reynoso for Congress (NY-07) is hiring Field Organizers that will play a key role in building grassroots support, engaging with voters, and driving the success of the campaign’s field operations. Reporting to the Organizing Director, organizers will be responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers, coordinating community outreach, and implementing strategies to maximize voter engagement. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual passionate about civic engagement and capable of thriving in a fast-paced political environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support the campaign’s voter outreach efforts in door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, text banking, and other direct voter contact activities.

Track and report voter engagement metrics to inform strategic adjustments.

Build relationships with local organizations, community leaders, and advocacy groups to expand the campaign’s reach.

Represent the campaign at community meetings and public forums.

Foster a positive and inclusive team culture to retain volunteers, sustain engagement, and build volunteer leaders that can operate independently.

Plan and execute community events such as town halls, rallies, and meet-and-greets with the candidate.

Support the candidate at various community events.

Other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:

At least 1 cycle of campaign or community organizing experience.

Familiarity with the political landscape and diverse communities in New York’s congressional district 7.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire volunteers.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in voter contact tools (e.g., VAN, NGP, Scale to Win)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to work long irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

A passion for progressive politics and electoral organizing.

Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, but not required.
