ABOUT ADAM FOR CONGRESS
Adam Dunigan is a former Marine and ex-CIA officer running in the Democratic Primary in Virginia's 8th Congressional District. Adam for Congress is seeking an experienced, full time ** Finance Director** to run an aggressive fundraising operation, oversee candidate donor call-time with strategic engagement, and drive data-informed outreach and communications in a high-intensity primary environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising strategy and budgeting: Develop and execute the campaign’s fundraising plan; set-cycle budgets; monitor burn rate and cash-on-hand; maintain audit-ready records, internal controls, and coordination with the Finance Committee.

Donor engagement and call-time management: Plan and oversee donor call-time blocks and outreach; maintain call sheets and donor records; train and supervise volunteers and staff; monitor performance metrics and progress toward goals.

Campaign data, reporting, and segmentation: Produce donor analytics and dashboards; ensure data hygiene and timely reporting; segment donors; align fundraising messaging with Communications and Field.

Leadership and collaboration: Partner with Campaign Manager, Treasurer, Compliance, and Field teams to synchronize strategy and execution; manage relationships with external vendors and ensure timely, ethical fundraising operations.
QUALIFICATIONS

3–5 years in campaign finance or fundraising operations; political campaign experience (congressional or state-level) preferred.

Knowledge of donor databases/CRMs (e.g., VAN, VoteBuilder, NGP, Warchest).

Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, confidentiality.

Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency with Google Workspace; familiarity with fundraising platforms.

Availability for evenings/weekends; travel; valid driver’s license preferred.

Experience with high-volume donor outreach and events; familiarity with NOVA political landscape.
Compensation: $8,000/month with negotiable benefits.
Start date: February 1, 2026
Location: Northern Virginia preferred; hybrid options with on-site fundraising events; some travel within NOVA.
Reporting structure: The Finance Director reports directly to the Campaign Manager.
