ABOUT ADAM FOR CONGRESS

Adam Dunigan is a former Marine veteran and ex-CIA officer running in the Democratic Primary in Virginia's 8th Congressional District. Adam for Congress is seeking a full-time ** Field Organizer** to drive grassroots outreach, recruit and train volunteers, and maximize direct voter contact and support for the campaign in Northern Virginia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Relational organizing and grassroots outreach: lead canvassing, phone and text banking; build durable relationships with individuals and communities; cultivate a network of supporters through meaningful conversations and referrals; meet weekly targets and track engagement progress.

• Volunteer coordination and constituency outreach: recruit, onboard, and supervise volunteers; schedule shifts; provide ongoing training and motivation; tailor outreach to diverse NOVA communities; staff events as needed.

• Local events, data collection, and reporting: staff events and voter contact tables; collect field data at the ground; feed data into CRM dashboards; maintain data hygiene.

• Messaging alignment, field feedback, and collaboration: ensure field messaging aligns with campaign strategy; relay on-the-ground insights to inform strategy and content; adjust tactics as needed; escalate issues when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 0–3 years in campaign field operations, community organizing, or related roles; field experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and recruiting skills; ability to motivate volunteers and work with diverse communities.

• Knowledge of field data capture platforms (e.g., VAN, NGP, VoteBuilder) is a plus; proficient with Google Workspace.

• Excellent organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability for evenings/weekends; willingness to travel within NOVA; valid driver’s license preferred.

• Familiarity with NOVA political landscape and grassroots engagement strategies.

Compensation: $4,000/month with negotiable benefits.

Start date: February 16, 2026

Location: Northern Virginia strongly preferred; on-site at events and canvassing; some travel within NOVA.

Reporting structure: The Field Organizer reports directly to the Field Director.
