About the Nevada Assembly Democratic Caucus
The Nevada Assembly Democratic Caucus (ADC) is the official campaign committee dedicated to supporting and electing democrats to the Nevada State Assembly. The ADC is seeking a Field Director to lead the day-to-day field operations of the caucus’s targeted races for the 2026 election cycle. The ideal candidate will have a long-term commitment and passion for winning state assembly races in Nevada.
Field Director
The Field Director’s role is to develop and manage an aggressive field program that will be instrumental in the Assembly Democratic Caucus retaining the majority in the Nevada State Assembly. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, highly motivated, and capable of working in a demanding work environment. The Field Director will work closely with the Executive Director and caucus leadership, overseeing the 2026 field program. This position will run through December 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
● Manage all aspects of the field program
● Working with candidates on field messaging and communication
● Manage all field staff and volunteers
● Create an aggressive field program that helps legislative candidates meet voter ID goals, and create goal driven and goal-dependent campaign structure for each legislative race
● Maintaining relationships with all partner organizations
● Working with candidates on all field activities, as needed
● Any other campaign-related tasks, as needed
Qualifications
● 2+ cycles of field experience with preferably one as a Field Director
● Experience recruiting, training, and managing field staff
● Experience managing some aspect of a GOTV operation
● Extensive knowledge and experience working with Votebuilder (VAN) and Excel/Google Sheets
● Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
● Ability to be self-motivated and able to work independently
● Access to a vehicle, laptop and cell phone
