George Conway for Congress, NY12

Position Overview

The George Conway for Congress campaign is seeking driven, well-organized, and hardworking students to join our team as Finance Fellows. This position offers significant hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a congressional primary, making it an ideal opportunity for students looking to gain experience in political fundraising and campaign strategy.

Finance Fellows will report directly to and work closely with the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director to accomplish critical fundraising goals. Fellows will play a critical support role in the campaign's day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Donor Research & Call Time: Support daily call time operations by conducting donor research, preparing call sheets for the candidate, and assisting with follow-up tasks.

  • Event Planning: Assist the team with the planning, logistics, and execution of fundraising events.

  • Data Management: Help maintain accurate fundraising reports and internal tracking documents to ensure the campaign remains organized.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior political or fundraising experience is preferred, but not required —we are willing to train the right candidate.

  • Organization: Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally with a wide array of stakeholders.

  • Availability: Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed to support campaign deadlines and events.

Compensation & Logistics
