JOB DESCRIPTION
Lydia Green for Brooklyn is seeking an enthusiastic organizer to direct the aggressive field operations of a grassroots campaign for New York State Assembly District 52.
Lydia Green is a progressive organizer, Democratic District Leader, and lifelong Brooklynite running to make Brooklyn a place that anyone and everyone can afford to call home. As Field Director, you will work closely with senior staff to develop and implement a field program unprecedented in the district, mobilizing the community to connect with our neighbors intimately, on a large scale, in a short timetable.
This position is full-time (standard campaign hours), in-person, and will run through the end of June 2026.
The salary for this position is $4000-$4,500 per month, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities

Field Strategy: Design and oversee implementation of the campaign’s field operations, set targets for direct voter contact and volunteer recruitment.

Volunteer Recruitment & Management: Recruit and supervise a large volunteer team, train volunteers for leadership roles.

Data Management: Manage field data entry and validation, monitoring progress towards targets.

Operations Management: Manage logistics of all in person and virtual field operations, providing support to volunteer leaders as needed.
Qualifications

Experience in field operations — whether as a volunteer lead or a professional operative, we’re looking for someone who has enough experience on the ground to strategize confidently and lead a team comfortably.

Proficiency in field data and volunteer management platforms.

A sharp eye for detail and organization.
