Drew Warshaw is building a campaign with a relentless focus on lowering costs for New Yorkers, holding corporations accountable, and protecting our most vulnerable neighbors by bringing urgency and imagination to one of the most powerful yet overlooked statewide offices in the country: the New York State Comptroller. This is a fast-paced operation grounded in mutual respect, high operating standards, executing with the urgency, creativity and power this moment demands, and a focus on impact-driven work.

We are currently seeking a Finance Director based in New York City with an immediate start date.

Finance Director

_Full-Time _| $7,000–$10,000/month, commensurate with experience

The Finance Director will lead a high-performing, ambitious statewide fundraising operation. This senior role works closely with the candidate, senior staff, and consultants to manage day-to-day finance operations, execute a long-term fundraising strategy, and oversee the campaign’s participation in New York’s public matching program.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive statewide fundraising plan

• Prospecting, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with donors

• Planning and executing fundraising events

• Managing and staffing call time program for the candidate

• Overseeing digital fundraising efforts

• Managing finance staff and consultants

• Ensuring compliance with all campaign finance regulations, including the public matching program

• Qualifications:

• At least two cycles of campaign experience

• Strategic, creative, and highly organized

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
