About the Candidate:
Blake Gendebien is a husband, father of three boys, second-generation dairy farmer, and small business owner. He was born and raised on a farm in the North Country and he’s been deeply rooted in this community his whole life – as a JV basketball coach, Lisbon Central School Board Member, and founder of a non-profit supporting kids with pediatric cancer and their families.

Job Description:
Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive, well-funded House race for the 2026 cycle. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in campaign finance to join a race that has already raised over $4 million.
The Finance Assistant will be a critical part of the Finance Team, working to grow the fundraising program by conducting donor research, developing and executing fundraising events, assisting with the preparation for the candidate’s call time, and managing a thriving intern program.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Researching prospective and past donors and preparing for the candidate’s call time.

Assist with the call time program by prepping calls, prospecting donors, conducting follow-up, and chasing pledges.

Assisting with the development and execution of fundraising events, managing internal tracking, drafting and sending invitations, staffing events, and more.

Oversee the Finance intern program with the Finance team, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.

Cultivate, build, and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation

Preferred: Personal familiarity with NY-21, knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, & Google Drive
