Core Responsibilities
Field Strategy & Execution
-
Develop and execute a comprehensive statewide field plan, in consultation with the Campaign Manager and consultant team, aligned with campaign goals and timeline.

Oversee all direct voter contact programs and coordination with in-state partners supporting field operations, including volunteer recruitment, training, and voter engagement

Ensure field programs are data-driven, disciplined, and scalable across regions.
Staff Management

Hire, train, and directly manage 3 Field Organizers, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance benchmarks.

Provide consistent coaching, accountability, and professional development to organizers.

Foster a collaborative, values-driven team culture that supports high performance and sustainability.
Volunteer & Coalition Engagement

Lead a robust volunteer engagement program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.

Coordinate with coalition partners to integrate volunteer activity, events, and voter contact efforts across the state.

Support coalition partners in activating their networks in alignment with campaign strategy and messaging.
Data, Reporting & Quality Control

Establish and manage clear reporting systems for all voter contact activity, including daily, weekly, and cumulative tracking.

Oversee data entry, quality control, and compliance with campaign standards.

Regularly assess field performance against benchmarks and adjust tactics as needed.
Coordination & Campaign Integration

Work closely with the Campaign Manager, communications team, and consultants to ensure field work reinforces campaign messaging and priorities.

Support GOTV planning and execution, including materials distribution, event coordination, and surge capacity.

Participate in regular campaign meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
-
At least one full cycle of campaign experience, preferably in a field or organizing role.

Demonstrated experience managing staff and/or large volunteer programs.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in campaign work, team management, and voter engagement.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability campaign environment.

Proficiency with Google Workspace; comfort working with campaign data systems.
