JOB DESCRIPTION

PROJECT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Carleigh Beriont for Congress is hiring a Project Manager for the 2026 cycle in New Hampshire’s First District.

Carleigh is a lifelong educator, local elected official, mother of two, and wife of a public school teacher. She’s running to hold this critical seat, fight for Granite State families, and bring a new generation of leadership to Washington. The Project Manager will be a crucial part of a small and energetic campaign team, reporting directly to the Senior Strategic Advisor, and working closely with the candidate.

This full-time, in-person role is based in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the campaign is looking to fill the position immediately through November 2026.

Role Overview

The Project Manager serves as the operational backbone of the campaign, ensuring that priorities move from discussion to execution. This role focuses on coordination, organization, and follow-through across fundraising, communications, political outreach, and campaign operations — keeping timelines on track and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The Project Manager does not set strategy, but plays a critical role in turning strategy into consistent, daily progress.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage campaign-wide task tracking systems and timelines to ensure projects move forward on schedule

  • Coordinate across departments (fundraising, communications, field, political, and finance) to track deliverables and deadlines

  • Translate leadership direction into actionable task lists and execution timelines, ensuring clear ownership of tasks

  • Proactively follow up with team members, vendors, and partners to ensure commitments are completed

  • Manage campaign calendars, planning timelines, and internal workflows to keep operations aligned

  • Support fundraising and event execution by organizing logistics, tracking follow-ups, and ensuring operational details are completed

  • Maintain organized campaign records and prepare internal status updates so leadership has clear visibility into progress

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to keep work moving forward

A Strong Candidate for This Role Will Be

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with strong systems for managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously

  • Highly reliable with strong follow-through — someone who closes loops rather than letting tasks linger

  • Comfortable taking direction while independently driving execution

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, able to anticipate needs before they become problems

  • Calm under pressure and able to manage fast-moving environments with competing priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communicator who can coordinate across different personalities and work styles

  • Deeply interested in politics and motivated by helping a campaign succeed through disciplined execution

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Prior campaign, political, nonprofit, or fast-paced operations experience

The starting salary range for this position is $4,000 per month.
