About The Henry Project PAC
The Henry Project (THP) is an independent-expenditure only committee (Super PAC) focused on building durable Democratic power in Kentucky.
Our model is simple but disciplined:
-
Recruit credible Democratic candidates before they file
-
Provide early training and strategic preparation

Deploy targeted independent expenditures in competitive districts
We believe early investment and serious infrastructure are what make districts competitive — not last-minute spending.
As we scale ahead of the general election and establish ourselves, we are seeking a Finance Director to build and execute an ambitious, high-dollar fundraising program.

The Finance Director will lead all fundraising strategy and execution for The Henry Project PAC, with a focus on high-capacity donor cultivation, major gifts, and all things fundraising. This is a senior leadership role responsible for designing and implementing a finance plan capable of raising substantial early-cycle capital. The ideal candidate is strategic, organized, confident in all sorts of donor settings. Salary is $50,000-$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Performance based incentives may be available.
Key Responsibilities
-
Execute a comprehensive finance plan to meet aggressive fundraising goals
-
Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors
-
Manage meetings between major donors and the Board of Directors
-
Manage and grow host committees and event fundraising
-

-

-
Oversee compliance coordination with legal and compliance vendors
-

-
Staff fundraising meetings and donor events
-
Identify and research new high-capacity prospects
Qualifications
Candidates will ideally have 3+ years of political finance experience (PAC, IE, campaign, or nonprofit preferred) with demonstrated success in raising major gifts and executing 6-7 figure budgets. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of independent expenditure fundraising dynamics and assist the Board of Directors. Candidates must be comfortable interacting with high-net-worth individuals and institutional donors, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a high level of discretion and professionalism. While this role is remote, travel within Kentucky and for large fundraisers across the county may be needed.
