The campaign of José Javier Rodríguez for Florida Attorney General seeks a senior-level Finance Director to lead all fundraising strategy and execution for a competitive statewide race. Rodríguez is a former Florida State Senator, Harvard Law graduate, and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Labor. This role will build and manage an aggressive statewide finance operation to meet ambitious revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute the cycle-wide finance plan, including projections and event pipelines

• Manage the Candidate’s call time, including lists, briefings, and follow-up

• Plan and staff in-state and select national fundraising events

• Build and maintain direct relationships with major donors, hosts, and finance committee members

• Supervise finance staff, consultants, and interns; maintain strong internal processes

• Coordinate with digital and communications teams on fundraising efforts

• Ensure accurate donor tracking, compliance records, and fundraising reporting

Qualifications

• Two or more cycles of campaign fundraising experience; prior Finance Director or Deputy Finance Director experience strongly preferred

• Proficiency with NGP, ActBlue, and Google Workspace

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work evenings and weekends; must have a personal laptop and a car (mileage reimbursed)
