JOB DESCRIPTION
The John Beccia for Congress campaign seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as a Petition Organizer. Petition Organizers will help execute the petition signature collection process to ensure that John Beccia qualifies for the ballot and build a volunteer field operation for the highly competitive open seat in MA-06 in 2026. The position will be based on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
Job Description:

Execute a compliant ballot access program while meeting daily and weekly goals

Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to meet and exceed metrics

Represent John Beccia for Congress across a diverse range of community settings

Organize volunteer events such as canvasses, phone banks, text banks, and relational programming

All other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively and clearly communicate

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize projects while working on a deadline

Flexible, adaptable, team player with a solutions-oriented mindset

Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in working with fellow staff and volunteers

Access to a smartphone and laptop, and comfortable with technology, including SMS, voter databases, and social media

Access to a vehicle, as well as a valid driver’s license

Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends

Must live near or be willing to relocate to North Shore, MA
Compensation:
$20/hr., 15-20 hours/week (March 8th-May 5th)
