Reports to: Finance Director

Position Overview

The Deputy Finance Director (DFD) will assist in all finance department responsibilities. A successful DFD will help manage the Finance team alongside the Director, expand our fundraising program, staff events, conduct outreach to potential donors, and support our internal systems to maximize efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 cycles of experience (DFD)

• Experience managing fundraising events, communicating directly with hosts

• Experience staffing Call Time, pulling lists, managing preparation, staffing, follow-up

• Experience staffing candidate is a plus

• Positive attitude, team player, ability to work alone and in groups

• Campaign Finance experience is a must

• Necessary Experience: NGP, fec.gov, Google Suite

• Bonus: experience with CallTimeAI or other call time software, Canva

• Applicant may be asked to perform other campaign related activities

• Must have access to a cell phone and laptop

Responsibilities:

• Manage our robust campaign fundraising events program

• Supervise Finance Department Associates

• Prepare for and staff fundraising events

• Interface with supporters virtually and in person

• Prepare briefings

• Support management of NGP donor database

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary for this position is $7,000 per month.

• Healthcare is optional and available.
