The Digital Content Manager will play a key role in shaping and amplifying Ethan’s message across the digital landscape. This hands-on position is responsible for capturing compelling moments on the campaign trail, crafting engaging narratives, and publishing high-impact content across Ethan’s social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong pulse on digital trends, a creative eye for storytelling, and the technical skills to produce content that drives engagement and expands the campaign’s reach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about digital media and is interested in gaining more experience in political communications. The position reports to the Deputy Communications Director.
Key Responsibilities:

Drafting the weekly social plan for the Ethan for Kansas Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts

Capturing and creating photo and video content to highlight the message and momentum of the campaign

Track and analyze platform performance to optimize content and grow engagement

Compiling daily clips and tracking online trends to maximize rapid response

Assisting with other communications related work as needed
Qualifications:

1-2 years experience creating content for a campaign, organization, or issue advocacy group

Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced work environment

Strong writing skills, specifically tailored to social media platforms

High proficiency in graphic design and video editing

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Sound judgment, calm under pressure, and a collaborative approach with internal teams

Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends

Kansas ties or experience is a plus, but not required
