About RSC!

Ready Set Campaign (RSC) is a political consulting organization committed to strengthening our democracy by equipping local parties and candidates, from city hall all the way to the halls of Congress, with the services and support they need to campaign with confidence. The RSC Associates will work directly with RSC or be placed on one of our client’s campaigns to provide crucial support across field operations, communications, and fundraising. This internship is ideal for motivated individuals interested in grassroots organizing and political campaigns. RSC provides a structured training curriculum and mentorship to ensure all Associates develop the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully and grow professionally.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in implementing turnkey campaign infrastructure including websites, branding, digital communication, and donation platforms

• Assist in developing and executing voter contact and volunteer mobilization plans in collaboration with local partners

• Support message development and digital content creation tailored to diverse campaign audiences

• Aid in organizing fundraising efforts, donor outreach, and campaign finance compliance

• Collaborate with campaign teams to set strategic goals and track progress

• Participate actively in training sessions, team meetings, and mentorship opportunities

Qualifications & Skills

• Students must be enrolled at a qualifying college/university (If we don’t yet have an agreement with your university, please have your professor contact us)

• No prior political or campaign experience required

• Strong oral and/or written communication skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments

• Collaborative team player with a service-oriented mindset

• Familiarity with social media and digital tools preferred but not required

• Commitment to RSC’s mission of strengthening grassroots democracy and supporting candidates and organizations

Training & Professional Development

• Access to a comprehensive training curriculum covering key campaign topics and tools around research, field organizing, communications, and fundraising

• Mentorship and ongoing support from experienced political professionals

• Networking opportunities within the political and grassroots organizing community

• Practical, hands-on experience preparing Associates for careers in political consulting, organizing, advocacy, and related fields
