JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Position:

Ohioans for Amy Acton is seeking a Scheduler to join our campaign staff. This role will be a key part of our logistical and operational team, and will be responsible for managing the candidate’s daily schedule on a busy, fast-paced campaign.

You’re an ideal candidate if you have strong time and organizational management skills, are a diligent communicator, and are comfortable working closely with a high level principal. This role requires close attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to problem-solve, as well as a high level of emotional intelligence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the candidate’s daily calendar, which includes:

  • Interfacing with external stakeholders, such as donors, political partners, organizations, and others

  • Balancing the needs of a busy campaign team and the many the demands on the candidate’s time

  • Ensuring the schedule is accurate, detailed, and reflects the reality of the candidate’s day to day movement throughout the state

  • Responding to requests in a timely manner

  • Assist the Operations Manager with logistical needs relating to the calendar, including:

  • Coordinating with advance teams on what is needed at each event

  • Gathering all relevant information for each event or meeting, and ensuring that the relevant team members are well informed on the purpose and goals of each event

  • Sharing new event requests with the team, and coordinating the decision-making process for each new request

  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
