JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and lead the execution of a finance plan and cashflow plan that encompasses all revenue streams, including events, call time, online solicitation, direct mail solicitation, major donors, and political action committees

• Establish and track metrics to continually improve the effectiveness of the fundraising plan

• Execute a robust events plan down to the final details

• Create and manage a digital fundraising program

• Build and maintain systems for call time, pledge follow-up, and re-solicitation by the candidate and surrogate fundraisers

• Build relationships with diverse Wisconsin and national donors

• Ensure timely entry of all acceptable contributions into the fundraising database

• Direct the work of finance staff as they are hired

• Recruit and supervise campaign interns

APPLICANT QUALITIES

• Has prior finance experience with at least 2 cycles of campaign experience

• Is goal-oriented, persistent, and detail-oriented

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships quickly with candidates, campaign staff, and donors

• Is proficient in NGP-VAN and Excel

• Is willing and capable of traveling within the state and to put in long hours to reach goals
