Internship Overview

We are seeking Finance Interns to support our campaign’s fundraising and financial operations. This unpaid internship offers hands-on experience in campaign finance, donor management, and grassroots fundraising. Interns are expected to commit approximately 8 hours per week.

Finance Internship Responsibilities

• Maintain and update donor databases with accurate and timely information

• Conduct donor research to support outreach and fundraising strategy

• Prepare briefing materials for events, meetings, and major donors

• Provide staffing support at campaign events (local interns only)

• Support grassroots fundraising efforts, including phone banking and donor outreach

• Assist with tracking contributions and ensuring compliance with campaign finance requirements

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable

• Strong communication and research skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

• Interest in political campaigns, finance, and nonprofit fundraising
