JOB DESCRIPTION

Jeremy Moss for Congress is hiring a part-time, paid Digital Fellow to join our fast-paced campaign in Michigan’s 11th District. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into political digital communications and gain hands-on experience working on a Congressional campaign. This would require ability to be in-person in Oakland County with access to a vehicle.

The Digital Fellow will work closely with campaign leadership to support the campaign’s online presence across platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a rapid-response environment, and able to quickly adapt to the voice and messaging of the campaign.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting with drafting and editing social media content for platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky

• Leading the creation and editing of short-form videos for social platforms

• Helping manage and maintain the campaign’s social media calendar

• Monitoring social media trends and identifying opportunities for timely content

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ideal candidates are team players, highly organized, and strong communicators. Basic video shooting and editing skills and familiarity with major social media platforms and trends strongly preferred.
