JOB DESCRIPTION

Jeremy Moss for Congress is hiring an Organizing Director to join our fast-paced campaign in Michigan’s 11th District. This role will be critical in building a robust voter contact and volunteer engagement program in the heart of Oakland County.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Campaign Manager to build a comprehensive field program and strategy.

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of organizers, fellows, and volunteers.

• Establish metrics and goals for the organizing team, track progress to goal, monitor success of the organizing program, and ongoing team coaching.

• Communicate clear priorities, needs, and expectations up and down the chain.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least two cycles of relevant community or political organizing experience

• Proficiency in VAN and other digital organizing tools

• Excellent organization, management, and interpersonal skills, and multicultural competence

• Must have a personal vehicle and current drivers license

Details

• Based in Oakland County, Michigan

• Salary range is $5,500-6,500/month, commensurate with experience

• Required to work irregular hours and weekends.
