Finance Associate/Deputy Finance Director (depending on experience)

**Location: **Harrisburg, PA (some statewide travel may be required)

**Reports To: **Finance Director

Salary: $4,500-5,000 per month (depending on experience)

**Position Type: **Full-time, salaried (exempt); through December 31, 2026, with potential for extension

Position Summary:

The Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee (PA HDCC) is seeking a Finance Associate or Deputy Finance Director to assist with all aspects of its fundraising operation for the 2026 election cycle. The PA HDCC is the only committee solely responsible for protecting and expanding the 1-seat Democratic majority in the PA House. Last cycle, the HDCC spent over $25 million to protect the majority in the face of a red wave in PA. The ideal candidate has a deep commitment to electing Democrats, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We ask that applicants for this position are willing to commit to working through the election in November of 2026.

The Finance Associate/Deputy Finance Director will share the following commitment and values:

  • Commitment to maintaining and expanding the Democratic Majority in the PA State House

  • Desire to grow and implement a successful fundraising program

  • Positive, kind, empowering, and no-drama approach to their work

  • Help ensure the committee has a strong, respectful, and cohesive team culture

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing and executing state house campaign fundraising plans

  • Prep and staff call time with members of the delegation and targeted candidates

  • Plan and run small-scale and large-scale fundraisers

  • Work with Regional Campaign Directors to identify which campaigns need support

  • Maintain relationships with PA partners and donors

Qualifications:

  • One cycle of political fundraising experience/ campaign experience

  • Extensive knowledge of NGP and ActBlue

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Lives in/near or is willing to relocate to Harrisburg area for the remainder of the cycle
