JOB DESCRIPTION

Shannon Taylor's campaign for Congress in Virginia's 1st District is seeking a Finance Associate to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time, entry-level position will support our finance program — including call time and follow-up, donor outreach, and fundraising event execution — and play an integral role in flipping VA-01, a red-to-blue seat critical to Democrats taking back the U.S. House.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage elements of the campaign’s call time program from start to finish – conducting donor research to identify prospects, staffing call time with the candidate, and tracking pledges and contributions

• Oversee data management to ensure accurate and timely records of all contacts

• Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, invitations, and post-event follow-up

• Assist Finance Team with other projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail

• Great interpersonal skills, and a positive and thoughtful attitude

• Ability to communicate clearly and proactively

• Experience with Excel, NGP8, ActBlue, or CallTimeAI is beneficial, but not required
