JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Project Manager (Part-Time Contract)

Location: West Virginia (Remote with in-state travel as needed)

Compensation: $25/hour, 15 hours per week

Duration: April - November

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Project Manager to lead and execute campaign operations for candidates mainly in West Virginia. This is a part-time, primarily remote role, but candidates ** must be based in West Virginia** and available for occasional in-person work, including events, and field operations. This role combines field strategy, data-driven organizing, and hands-on creative execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building campaign infrastructure including databases, contact systems, and design needs such as campaign branding, literature, and basic digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee voter contact efforts including canvassing, phone banking, and text programs

  • Manage and utilize campaign tools such as VoteBuilder and related data platforms

  • Develop and implement call time systems and field contact operations

  • Create and/or oversee campaign design assets, including logos, print literature, and basic website or digital materials

  • Ensure visual consistency and branding across all campaign materials

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and field staff as needed

  • Coordinate with campaign leadership to align field strategy with overall campaign goals

  • Track metrics, analyze data, and adjust tactics to maximize impact

  • Support in-person campaign activities across West Virginia as needed

Qualifications:

  • At least one cycle of experience on a political campaigns

  • Strong familiarity with VoteBuilder, Scale To Win, and other voter file or digital organizing tools

  • Experience managing teams or volunteers

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and stay organized in a remote work environment

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Squarespace) for creating campaign materials

  • Must be ** based in West Virginia** and have access to reliable transportation
