JOB DESCRIPTION

Robin Peguero For Congress is looking for a dedicated Deputy Finance Director to spearhead the finance program for one of the most competitive red-to-blue congressional races in Florida. This position will last through the August 2026 primary with the opportunity to stay on through the November general election.

The Deputy Finance Director reports directly to the Campaign Manager. This is a full-time position based in Miami, FL.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Campaign Manager. Monitor fundraising progress, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure the financial needs of the campaign are met.

  • Manage all aspects of the call-time program with the candidate, including sending follow-up communications, tracking pledges, recording data, preparing thorough lists, and running a donor-acknowledgement program.

  • Oversee the expansion of existing donor databases by identifying, researching, and recruiting new donors.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events. Ensure seamless event logistics, engaging programming, and meaningful donor interactions.

  • Track donor data and other finance metrics; ensure accurate reporting.

  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for fundraising activities.

  • Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have at least 1-2 cycles as a Finance Director, Deputy Finance Director and/or Finance Assistant.

  • Strong knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines and an ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

  • Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays in 2026.

  • A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation.

Salary & Benefits

  • $4,000-$5,000 per month, commensurate with experience.

  • $500 healthcare stipend per month.
