Location: San Antonio, TX
Kristian Carranza’s highly competitive campaign for Texas State House District 118 is seeking a Campaign Manager to oversee the campaign’s full operations ** including a multi-million dollar budget**. HD-118 is the top flip opportunity in the Texas House. The ideal candidate has a strong background in political strategy and is ready to manage a congressional-style race.
Primary Responsibilities

Work directly with the candidate, consultants, and senior staff to set and achieve strategic goals. Manage staff day-to-day and delegate roles, and responsibilities to develop and execute the campaign plan, including voter targeting, messaging, scheduling, and budgeting.

Manage campaign departments and consultants across field, finance, communications, and digital – including leading consultant and partner calls.

Manage campaign budget and cashflow to ensure that budget reflects the priorities, strategies, and tactics of the campaign plan. Lead fundraising operations, including call time, events, and online fundraising strategy ensuring compliance with campaign finance regulations.

Oversee campaign communications and ensure message discipline across earned, paid, and digital media. Serve as an authorized spokesperson for the campaign.

Build and maintain relationships with political, community, and labor leaders, elected officials, and endorsing organizations to drive them toward action and support.

Identify and troubleshoot strategic, personnel, or logistical challenges to keep the campaign on track and moving forward.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 3 cycles of campaign experience, including at least one in a senior leadership role (Campaign Manager, Finance Director, Field Director, or equivalent).

Experience managing paid staff and coordinating across multiple departments.

Proficiency with campaign tools such as Votebuilder, Google Workspace, and ActBlue.

Exceptional organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.

Must be based in or able to relocate to San Antonio for the duration of the campaign.
Compensation:$6,500/month – health insurance included
