This is a front-line role focused on building a durable volunteer infrastructure and executing a winning voter contact strategy.
Organizers will report directly to the Campaign Manager.
Position Responsibilities
-
Volunteer Infrastructure: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of volunteers to execute daily direct voter contact, including door-to-door canvassing, phone-banks, and relational organizing.
-
Community Presence: Act as a primary representative for Kristin Egan at community events, local committee meetings, and neighborhood gatherings.
-
Data Management: Implement strategies to meet daily and weekly metric goals (knocks, calls, and shifts). Maintain high standards for data entry and voter file integrity.
-
Leadership Development: Identify and train "super-volunteers" and precinct captains to take on leadership roles within the campaign.
-
GOTV Execution: Lead the execution of a massive Get Out The Vote (GOTV) operation in the final weeks of the campaign.
-
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with local activists, labor partners, and community leaders throughout the district.
Qualifications
-
Experience: At least 1 cycle of professional organizing experience (field, campus, or issue-based) is required.
-
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional "people skills" with the ability to build rapport quickly with voters and volunteers from all walks of life.
-
Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily travel across the region.
-
Residency: Must currently reside in or near Bucks County or be prepared to relocate to the area for the duration of the campaign.
-
Resilience: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
-
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with VoteBuilder/VAN and standard campaign tools.
Compensation
-
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience (comparable to PA field standards, approximately $4,500–$5,000/month).
-
A platinum healthcare plan is offered through HDCC.
-
This is a campaign cycle position ending mid-November 2026.
