May 19 to June 2, 2026 - Southern Minnesota (Rochester area)

We're hiring a Team Lead for a short-term ballot petition project in southern Minnesota, based in the Rochester area. You'll manage a crew of about 9 petition circulators day-to-day.

It's a good fit for someone who's done canvassing before and wants to further their skills.

What you'll do:

• Manage a crew of ~9 petition circulators

• Assign canvassers to high-traffic sites each day and rotate locations as needed

• Drive canvassers between sites when needed (mileage reimbursed)

• Check in with circulators throughout the day and debrief at end of shift

• Collect completed petition sheets, do a first-pass quality check, and submit them for legal review

• Report daily numbers and issues to the Field Director

• When the crew is fully deployed, collect signatures yourself at high-value sites

Pay:

• $30/hr base

• Mileage reimbursement

• Bonuses based on your team's performance

You should apply if you:

• Have done a campaign cycle, field internship, significant volunteering, or similar.

• Are comfortable managing people (retail management experience would be a plus)

• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

• Can commit to the full two-week window, including weekends

• Can think on your feet and handle ambiguity well

• Must be eligible to vote in Minnesota

• Must be 18+

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
