JOB DESCRIPTION

The ** Sean Carlson for State Senate** campaign is seeking a highly-motivated Field Director. Senate District 13 is one of the most competitive Senate districts in the state, and is critical to holding and growing a Democratic majority. The Field Director will be tasked with implementing the field plan, planning canvassing events, cutting and prioritizing turf, creating door knocking goals, and coordinating with partners. The Field Director will report directly to the Campaign Manager and work side-by-side with the Senate Caucus team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and manage field volunteers and interns

  • Cutting and prioritizing turf

  • Manage canvassing schedule

  • Create goals and coach staff/volunteers/interns to success

  • Manage absentee voter chase program

  • Coordinating with partners

  • Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • At least one election cycle of campaign field experience

  • Experience with software such as Votebuilder (VAN), Mobilize, and/or ControlShift

  • Comfortable with Google Suite, especially Google Sheets

  • Strong writing and communications skills

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet goals and deadlines
