JOB DESCRIPTION
The Bale Dalton for Congress campaign is seeking a Head Organizer. This staffer will report to the Campaign Manager in a competitive, battleground race that presents one of the top flip opportunities in the South.

Responsibilities
- Recruit and train volunteers for voter contact, including door knocking and phone banks
- Foster strong relationships with community leaders, and build canvasses, phone banks, and community events
- Track data related to voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and vote-by-mail metrics
- Use data to own and tailor a field plan for FL-07
- Work with the campaign manager and broader team to develop and implement organizing materials and resources
- Engage in direct voter contact as needed
- Help train and manage interns and volunteers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VAN/Votebuilder
- Prior experience organizing or working on a campaign
- Spanish language skills a plus
- Team player, well organized, and able to manage multiple fast-moving projects at once

Willing to work in a fast-paced environment that will include some nights and weekends

Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
- Based in Florida’s Seventh District or willing to relocate
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $4,500 – $5,000/month, commensurate with experience. Healthcare benefits and/or a monthly health care stipend will be provided.
