JOB DESCRIPTION
Dinah Escarment is running for Florida HD-108. She’s a Democratic State Committeewoman and relentless advocate for South Florida’s Haitian community. Her 6 years teaching students from low-income communities in Broward and Orange County public schools shaped her commitment to expanding opportunity for those Florida politicians who were too eager to leave behind. She currently chairs Florida Rising, a grassroots organization building political power inBlack and Brown communities across the state, and serves as Vice President of the Miami-Dade County Democratic Haitian Caucus.
We are looking for a full-time Campaign Manager to lead day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity to direct a campaign breaking fundraising records, engaging unprecedented numbers of young people in the community and online, and earning significant external support.
Targeted start date: Available to start immediately. End date: August 31, 2026 with a potential extension through the general election.
The Campaign Manager will:
● Lead the day-to-day management of a progressive, people-powered campaign
● Oversee the development and execution of the campaign plan, including the fundraising, field, and digital plans with consultants and partners Manage paid campaign staff, interns, and volunteers Manage candidate call time and assist with fundraising execution
Qualifications:
● At least two cycles of campaign experience, with experience managing staff or interns.
● Demonstrated commitment to progressive causes.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Experienced with VoteBuilder and ActBlue.
● Must be able to work campaign hours, including evenings and weekends.
● Familiarity with Florida politics preferred, though not required.
● A valid US driver’s license, a car, a laptop and cell phone.
This position pays $4000-$6000 a month, commensurate with experience, in addition to a $100 per month health stipend.
