JOB DESCRIPTION

The Nathan Johnson campaign for Texas Attorney General is hiring an Advance Director. The Advance Director is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of public events organized by the campaign. The position is full-time, based in Austin, Texas, and will involve extensive travel around the state.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute all public events, including but not limited to town halls, rallies, press conferences, and roundtables

• Identify and form relationships with regional political leadership across the state

• Partner with internal teams to promote events and maximize attendance

• Ensure all events deliver a professional and engaging experience for supporters and stakeholders

• Supervise and guide staff and volunteer support at events

• Other campaign needs as required

Requirements:

• At least one cycle of campaign event experienced required, preferably in Texas

• Must have access to a personal vehicle

• Willingness to work irregular hours including some nights and weekends

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
