JOB DESCRIPTION

Organization Overview

Some fights can’t wait. When democracy is under threat, when barriers to civic participation rise, and when leadership pipelines need investment, the Virginia Civic Engagement Table (VCET) steps in. We are the strategic force behind Virginia’s progressive movement, ensuring that voting rights are protected, civic voices are amplified, and the next generation of leaders is ready to take action.

Our impact speaks for itself:

  • Election Protection: We’ve safeguarded votes across the state, ensuring Virginians have the resources they need to cast their ballots.

  • Organizing Community: We led statewide coalitions to expand equity and justice in Virginia, ensuring that everyone has the right to live, work, and have a voice in their community regardless of their background.

  • Leadership Pipeline: Our leadership program alumni are running for office, organizing movements, and reshaping what’s possible in our communities. We listen. We connect. We make sure progress doesn’t stall. When others don’t have the capacity, we fill the gaps; providing the tools, research, and strategy that drive real change.
