The Peter Burgelis for Wisconsin campaign is seeking a motivated social media manager to power the campaign’s digital presence as we head into a competitive Democratic primary in one of the country’s most vulnerable Republican congressional districts. This will be a contractor position on the campaign.
Working under the candidate and the campaign manager, the social media manager will create and oversee the campaign’s social media program from now until the primary in August.
Responsibilities include:

Creating copy and preparing assets for reels and stories

Working collaboratively with the digital team to post social media content that complements the existing and future digital program

Creating polished and professional graphics that can be used online to help build the campaign’s narrative

Posting content to campaign’s social media accounts
Preferred qualifications:

Experience creating and running dynamic social media programs on all platforms

Design and proofreading experience
This is a part-time contract position that can be done remotely. Wisconsin ties are preferred but not required.
