JOB DESCRIPTION

Politics isn't won on Twitter. It's won on doorsteps, in living rooms, at union halls, community events, and conversations with voters who rarely hear from anyone asking for their vote.

The Taylor for Texas team is looking for a full-time Field Director to lead our grassroots organizing program in Fort Worth and across Senate District 9 as we work to reelect Senator Taylor Rehmet, the first Rank and File Union member ever elected to the Texas State Senate. We're searching for someone who can build teams, motivate volunteers, solve problems on the fly, and help us continue proving that old political rules don't always apply. If you believe relationships beat algorithms and organizing still matters, we should talk.

Job Description

The Field Director will oversee all aspects of the campaign's field operation, including volunteer recruitment, voter contact programs, canvassing, phone banking, event support, data management, and GOTV efforts. This position will work closely with campaign leadership to develop and execute an aggressive voter outreach strategy while managing organizers, volunteers, and field resources.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, comfortable working long and occasionally unpredictable hours, and excited about building something bigger than themselves. Campaign experience is preferred, but a strong organizer with leadership experience and a willingness to learn will be considered.
