JOB OPPORTUNITY: CAMPAIGN MANAGER
** Arizona State Senate — Legislative District 25**
Compensation: $1,500 – $2,000/month depending on experience
Location: West Valley, Phoenix Area (Surprise, AZ, residence preferred)
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Laura Huber is running for Arizona State Senate in Legislative District (LD) 25, which encompasses part of the West Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area and Yuma, including the communities of Surprise, Buckeye, and Waddell. We are building a campaign team committed to representing the people of LD25 with integrity, accountability, and a strong voice in the Arizona State Senate.
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and politically savvy Campaign Manager to join our team and play a central role in our path to victory.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Campaign Manager will serve as a key operational leader for the "Laura Huber for AZ" campaign committed to electing Laura Huber to the Arizona State Senate in LD25. This individual will work closely with the candidate to plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of campaign strategy and daily operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, and has a genuine passion for Arizona politics and civic engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee day-to-day campaign operations and serve as the primary point of contact for staff, volunteers, and vendors

Develop and manage campaign schedules, event planning, and candidate appearances across the district

Coordinate voter outreach efforts including canvassing, phone banking, and community events

Manage campaign communications, social media presence, and messaging in coordination with the candidate

Track and manage campaign deadlines, filings, and compliance requirements

Recruit, train, and organize campaign volunteers

Travel throughout LD25, including between Surprise, Buckeye, Waddell, and Yuma, as needed for campaign activities and events

Maintain detailed records and reports on campaign activities and progress

Assist in fundraising coordination and donor outreach efforts

Anticipate issues and proactively problem-solve to keep the campaign on track

Devote significant personal time to campaign duties, including physical fieldwork and hands-on tasks as needed

Install campaign signage (yard signs, banners, etc.) throughout LD25, including Surprise, Buckeye, Waddell, and Yuma

Coordinate and carry out the removal and proper disposal of all campaign signage following the election

Attend campaign events alongside the candidate, providing on-site support, coordination, and a professional presence
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must reside in the West Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area; candidates living in Surprise, AZ strongly preferred

Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license — significant travel across the district between Surprise, Buckeye, Waddell, and Yuma is required

Demonstrated ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Punctual and dependable with exceptional attention to detail

Quick learner who can adapt to evolving campaign needs and circumstances

Strong knowledge of Arizona politics, current political issues, and the Arizona legislative process

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as campaign demands require
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred — LD25 serves a diverse community and bilingual skills are a significant asset

Prior experience in political campaigns, community organizing, or public service

Familiarity with Arizona Legislative District 25 communities and voters

Experience with campaign management tools, voter data platforms (e.g., VAN/NGP), or CRM software
-
Established relationships within the West Valley political or civic community
COMPENSATION & POSITION DETAILS

Pay: $1,500 – $2,000 per month, commensurate with experience
