Out of State Manager - 2026 Georgia Coordinated Campaign

Description:

The Democratic Party of Georgia is seeking an experienced ** Out of State Manager** to build and execute a distributed organizing program that allows out of state volunteers to support the Democratic Party of Georgia in electing Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.

We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the turnout operation needed to win elections up and down the ballot in November 2026. This fundamental role within the Organizing Leadership Team is a full-time position and based in Atlanta, GA. ** Applicants can apply by sending their resume to [email protected] with [Out of State Manager] as the subject. **

Responsibilities

● Run all aspects of a statewide phones program, including training, recruitment, and volunteer leader management.

  • Coordinate out of state groups to come to Georgia for in person volunteer opportunities.

● Assist the Organizing Director in program development and execution.

● Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

● 2+ cycles of organizing experience with staff management responsibilities.

● Ability to create a motivating and inclusive culture.

  • Experience with predictive dialer technology, such as ThruTalk and VPB Connect, texting tools, such as ThruText and Spoke.

  • Experience training and managing a distributed volunteer network.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

● Willingness to manage a diverse team with different experiences and perspectives, and a commitment to helping them grow and succeed.

● Experience working in large, metric driven voter contact programs.

  • Proficient in VAN

Compensation and Location

The salary for this role is $7,000 a month.

Applicants must live in or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia. Applicants must have the ability to travel throughout the state for up to several days at a time and must have a valid driver’s license.
