Political Account Associate

Pendulum Creative Group (PCG) is a full-service design firm that focuses on direct mail and digital campaigns. We provide culturally relevant, unparalleled designs that get noticed and win campaigns for Democratic candidates and progressive organizations. Our past clients have included large unions like AFSCME and SEIU, leading national organizations like the DLCC, Mi Familia Vota and NAACP, and state-based groups like One APIA Nevada and One Pennsylvania.

PCG is looking for a talented and motivated Account Associate to work directly with our senior staff to manage projects for various clients for the 2026 election cycle. This position will interact directly with our firm leadership and design professionals to ensure all projects are completed on time and with exceeding quality to deliver the best products to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with senior staff to manage the day-to-day progress of client projects to ensure on-time delivery

  • Write, edit, and proofread copy for print and digital products and assist with draft edits

  • Client engagement for follow-ups and requests for additional materials

  • Assist with research to stay up to date with shifting political landscapes

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with quick turnaround times

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Problem solver that doesn’t require too much management

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a team setting and with external partners

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient with Slack, project management tools, Adobe, and MS Office

  • Strong commitment to progressive values and to the mission of our clients in the labor, environmental, and racial justice movements

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends

  • Campaign or organizing experience a plus, but not required

  • Fluency in other languages a plus, but not required

This is a temporary position that ends on November 6, 2026.

The salary for this position is $5200-$5600 per month commensurate with experience. PCG provides a capped healthcare reimbursement, plus group disability and life insurance coverage for all employees. Account Associates will immediately be eligible for vacation and sick time upon starting their position. A full detail of benefits will be discussed with candidates during the job interview process.
