JOB DESCRIPTION

The Vindman for Congress campaign is seeking** Field Organizers** to help execute our organizing

plans for Congressman Eugene Vindman’s highly competitive 2026 re-election campaign.

This position reports directly to the Organizing Director and works in close collaboration with

other staff in executing their duties and supporting the day-to-day operations of the campaign.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

● Recruit and train volunteers to conduct direct voter contact.

● Coordinate volunteer events that connect with voters in a meaningful way and grow our

team of core volunteers and supporters.

● Utilize a number of tactics and tools to hit daily and weekly metric goals including but

not limited to phone recruitment, texting, high-traffic canvassing, canvassing and tabling.

● Work closely with existing and new volunteer leaders to develop long-lasting organizing

strength across the district.

● Other responsibilities as assigned.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a volunteer or staff on a political, issue, or

advocacy campaign, experience using VoteBuilder or other CRM software and spreadsheet

software, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications - In addition to the skills necessary to perform the above activities, the following

skills are also required:

● Previous campaign experience as staff or volunteer preferred but not required.

● Local ties and experience organizing core communities is a plus.

● Experience using VoteBuilder and MiniVAN is a plus.

● Willingness to work across the district.

● Willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary, especially close to

Election Day.

● Flexible, adaptable and solutions-oriented.

● Must have access to a cell phone, vehicle and ability to relocate if necessary.

Job Details

This position is based in Woodbridge, Virginia. Applicants must live in or around the district or

agree to move to the area upon hiring. Applicants must have the ability to travel to events and

meetings across Virginia’s 7th Congressional district and must have a valid driver's license.

Compensation: $4,500 per month
