JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

The Kristin Egan Campaign is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Director to lead our voter contact operations. The Field Director will play a critical role in the success of the campaign, overseeing all direct voter contact to build strong relationships with voters, increase turnout, and persuade undecided voters.

The Field Director will be responsible for executing the campaign’s voter outreach plan and managing the day-to-day operations of field organizers, volunteers, and fellows.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a large-scale field and organizing plan.

  • Team Management: Directly manage, mentor, and provide technical support to field organizers and interns.

  • Volunteer Engagement: Recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers; lead volunteer trainings and house parties.

  • Field Operations: Launch and manage canvassing operations, ensuring weekly door-knocking goals are met.

  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate field data in Votebuilder and provide the Campaign Manager with daily quantitative and qualitative progress reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 cycle of campaign experience.

  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Votebuilder, Mini-VAN, and Excel.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively and tactfully with the public.

  • Judgment: Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

  • Commitment: Dedicated to maintaining a Democratic Majority in the PA State House.

  • Logistics: Reliable access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license; ability to relocate to the Bucks County area.

  • Resilience: Ability to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
