Description
The Delaware Democratic Party is seeking Field Organizers for the 2026 Coordinated Campaign. Field Organizers should be passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the grassroots turnout operation needed to win elections up and down the ballot for Democrats in 2026.
Organizers will be responsible for various tasks focused on community engagement and direct voter contact. Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to work long hours. This is a full-time position based in Delaware and requires regular in-person work with staff, volunteers, and partners. Remote work options will not be available for this position. This position reports to the Regional Field Directors. No experience necessary! All training is provided. Preference will be given to candidates who have an interest in politics and knowledge of the Delaware political landscape. This role runs through November 13, 2026.

Key Responsibilities & Characteristics

Work to elect Delaware Democrats up and down the ballot by knocking on doors, recruiting volunteers, and attending community events across the state

Recruit, manage, and train volunteers to participate in direct voter contact; including but not limited to door-to-door canvassing, recruitment calls, and relational organizing

Implement strategies to meet daily and weekly metrics, adhere to established statewide data standards, and ensure accurate data collection for all voter-contact activity

Support volunteers by providing regular trainings

Build relationships with local activists, stakeholders, and organizations across the State

Recruit, manage and train volunteer leaders to help execute a large scale GOTV

Other duties as assigned by the Coordinated Campaign Manager and Regional Field Directors

Willingness and ability to work full-time in a field office and travel up and down the State.
