JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

JoAnna Mendoza for Congress is hiring a full-time Organizing Director to join the Mendoza for Congress team. The Organizing Director will be responsible for overseeing all organizing and direct voter outreach programming. The Organizing Director will need to develop strategic goals and work campaign hours to ensure a successful re-election campaign. The Organizing Director will work in close coordination with, and report directly to, the Campaign Manager.

Campaign Overview

JoAnna “Jo” Mendoza is running for Congress against one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the country. This district is a designated red to blue race, it has a unique demographic composition, and represents one of the largest metro areas in Arizona, while also encompassing suburban and rural areas.

JoAnna is a single mom, Latina, and Marine Corps veteran of 20 years. She is a longstanding member of the community with deep roots throughout the district. Jo is running to restore servant leadership in Congress, fight to lower prices, and bring a voice for working families for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District! She will bring real, grounded, and authentic leadership to Washington.
