Nancy Lacore for Congress is building a people-powered campaign focused on connecting with voters in South Carolina’s first congressional district (SC-01) and earning support through authentic, grassroots organizing. We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals who are prepared to hit the ground running on a fast-paced, highly competitive congressional campaign.
Field Organizers will play a key role in helping grow our grassroots program ahead of the general election on November 3. Field Organizers will work closely with other organizing staff and volunteers to expand voter outreach efforts, strengthen volunteer engagement, and support campaign events across the district. Candidates with or without previous experience are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time, paid position with non-traditional working hours. Physical activity is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may include:

Recruit volunteers through phone calls, texts, and relational organizing efforts

Train and support volunteers in voter outreach tactics and campaign best practices

Conduct direct voter contact through texting, phone banking, and in-person canvassing

Help lead in-person canvassing and other volunteer events

Assist campaign staff with in-person events, visibility actions, and community outreach

Build positive relationships with volunteers, supporters, and voters

Help track outreach progress and report organizing feedback to campaign staff

Regularly work evenings and weekends

Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic campaign environment

Passionate about Democratic politics and electing Nancy Lacore to the House of Representatives
