Location: Overland Park, KS (statewide campaign)

Timeframe: ASAP through November 2026

Cindy Holscher’s campaign for Governor of Kansas is seeking a Finance Assistant for the 2026 cycle to assist in our strong and growing fundraising program.

This is an in-person, full-time paid position perfect for someone early in their career and interested in learning more about Democratic campaigns, fundraising, compliance & operations.

Key Responsibilities:

● Work closely and collaboratively with the finance staff to execute the finance plan.

● Organize and prepare call lists for candidate call time.

● Staff candidate call time as needed.

● Complete donor research projects and assist in data entry and management of the donor database.

● Process campaign contributions into a compliance database and screening for compliance issues.

● Identify and research potential new supporters.

● Complete donor outreach.

● Support finance events.

● Compile briefings and event materials.

● Complete other fundraising tasks as needed for the campaign’s success.

Qualifications:

● Detail-oriented self-starter with an interest in Democratic campaigns.

● Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities.

● Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment.

● Experience working in NGP and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is preferred.

● Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

● Must relocate to KS immediately.
