JOB DESCRIPTION

Shannon Taylor's campaign for Congress in Virginia's 1st District is seeking Field Organizers to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time, entry-level position is based in Richmond, VA and will support our field program. Field Organizers will play an integral role in flipping a critical seat — one that is key to Democrats taking back the U.S. House.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers

• Execute voter contact programs including phone banking and canvassing

• Spend significant time in the field making phone calls and knocking doors to turn out and persuade voters

• Track and report on volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals

• Build and maintain relationships with community members and local organizations to expand the campaign's volunteer base.

• Attend regular staff meetings and trainings as required.
