Overview:

Pat Ryan for Congress is seeking a Finance Assistant. In 2024, Rep. Pat Ryan (NY-18) won a tough frontline district by 13%, the highest battleground overperformance by a Democrat nationwide. We’re building the team we’ll need to win again in 2026 and beyond. We are looking for an organized, hard working, and detail oriented individual who will assist the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director in continuing to grow our finance operation.

Location: In District, NY-18th Congressional District

Format: In-person

Responsibilities Include:

- Prepping calls for the Congressman at the direction of Finance Director & Deputy Finance Director.

- Conducting donor research and identifying targets.

- Staffing call time with the Congressman and logging donor interaction in the donor CRM.

- Managing call follow up and ensuring all relationships receive proper follow up.

- Tracking pledges and following up via email and phone.

- Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events.

- Completing other tasks as needed for campaign success and as directed by the Finance Director

Ideal Candidate:

- Previous campaign or finance/fundraising experience preferred, but not necessary.

- Highly organized.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills.

- Positive attitude and ability to problem solve.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to work on evenings and on weekends.
