Digital Manager - Youth Communities, The Wisco Project
The Organization:
The Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest youth vote organization. We run large-scale organizing and digital programming to reach and mobilize young people across the state. In 2026, we will work to expand our youth coalitions, strengthen youth political power, and score progressive victories for young people across the state. This will be a crucial year for Wisconsin and we are in need of talented, dedicated staff ready to take on this challenge with us!
What Will You Do?
We are looking for a Digital Manager to lead and execute our organization’s social media strategy for our Youth Communities program, which is targeting non-college young people in key geographies. The Digital Manager should be someone who is passionate about leveraging organic digital content to reach and mobilize young voters.
The Digital Manager will report to the Youth Communities Director and will:

Launch and grow a series of accounts designed to support the Youth Communities program

Execute the program’s social media strategy, developing creative programming and strategies to grow Youth Communities related accounts

Work with local content creators incorporate them into our larger Youth Communities network

Implement and manage systems to ensure that Youth Communities organic content is on-message, on-brand, accurate, compliant, and effective

Work with the Youth Communities organizing team use social media to advance organizing goals

Help track analytics and performance to inform ongoing strategy and optimize content across platforms

Make recommendations for strategic boosting of organic content

All other duties as assigned
Who Are You?
A successful candidate for this role will have:
-
Demonstrated success developing and leading organic media strategies, particularly for political campaigns or political/advocacy organizations is preferred but not required

An intuitive understanding of organic social, trends, and platform best practices — particularly as it related to what content will be successful with young people in suburban and rural areas
-
Ability to rapidly produce high-quality content and manage multiple accounts

Passionate about civic engagement, highly motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details: Compensation for this role is $6,000/month plus benefits. This is a Full Time role.
