Description
Marni von Wilpert is an Obama workers' rights attorney, former prosecutor, and San Diego Councilwoman, and now - the Democratic candidate for a must-win seat for Democrats to take back the House. After Prop 50 passed, CA-48, which spans both San Diego and Riverside Counties, became the most competitive race in the country, presenting a unique opportunity to flip a historically red district blue.
As an Organizing Fellow, you will:

Work closely with campaign staff on core campaign priorities

Support grassroots organizing efforts that help mobilize voters

Play a direct role in expanding our outreach and strengthening our field operation

Gain practical experience in the day-to-day strategy and execution of a competitive congressional race

Receive hands-on training in campaign strategy and operations, and gain access to leadership and professional development opportunities

Inform the campaign’s strategy and direction through their unique perspective
Commitment: Expectation of a minimum 10-12 hours per week
