JOB DESCRIPTION

Abdul for Senate is seeking talented candidates to work as a Deputy Digital Fundraising Director for the 2026 election cycle. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to our mission of electing Abdul El-Sayed our next U.S. Senator.

Role Overview:

The Deputy Digital Fundraising Director is responsible for overseeing the Management of online, grassroots and fundraising messaging. This will be a full time position based in Ann Arbor, MI, although there is flexibility with remote work and a relocation timeline. This position offers compensation in the form of a monthly salary and healthcare benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Management of digital fundraising program

• Management of storefront

• Support with cashflow

• Donor management

• Principal Staffing

• Compliance and donor management

• Set and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly fundraising goals

• Coordinate with campaign leadership and other campaign finance team members to align finance strategy with budget needs

• Draft fundraising materials including materials for fundraisers, direct mail, and other appeals for raising

• Expand the donor base through strategic research and outreach

• Track, analyze, and report fundraising performance metrics

• ○ Oversee daily donation processing, deposits, and data entry.

• Ensure all campaign fundraising activities comply with FEC regulations.

• Review and approve FEC reports prior to submission.

• Other campaign needs as required

Qualifications (Required):

• Proven experience raising money for a federal campaign

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

• Strong communication skills, both internal and external.

• A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in campaign finance required

• Must have transportation to attend events as needed

• Proficiency with Excel and Google Drive, NGP

• Willingness to work irregular hours including some nights and weekends.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to learn new skills and take on new challenges, with a desire to learn and a willingness to ask questions

• Ability to balance between competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail

• Commitment to electing Abdul El-Sayed to the U.S. Senate

• Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence – the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant and productive ways

• Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Raisemore

• Experience directly managing/staffing a principal is a significant plus

• Previous experience working in Michigan is a significant plus

This is a full-time position with the Abdul for Senate campaign, and is expected to start in August 2026 through November 2026. Deputy Digital Fundraising Director will be paid a monthly salary of $8,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
